Christmas at the Grottenbahn 2025

Welcome to the festive Grottenbahn!

Opening hours during "Christmas at the Grottenbahn 2025":
During the Christmas season, the Grottenbahn is open on the following days: November 30, December 7, 8, 14, and 21, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please note: Lenzibald’s last ride takes place 30 minutes before closing time.

Visitors can look forward to the following performances (in German), taking place at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm at Märchenhauptplatz:

First Sunday of Advent, 30.11.: Winter-Zauber-Märchen
Second Sunday of Advent, 7.12.: Mascha und der Bär
Public holiday, 8.12.: Lustiges Mitmachtheater mit Benny Barfuß
Third Sunday of Advent, 14.12.: Trollige Weihnachtsmärchen aus Salzburg
Fourth Sunday of Advent, 21.12.: Wiff-Jack, Hell & Frisch und Weihnachtsorchester

Waiting for Christmas Eve 2025

Getting ready for Christmas Eve: Come and join Lenzibald and the dwarves in the Grottenbahn as we wait together for the Christ Child.

Opening hours during "Waiting for Christmas Eve 2025":
On December 24, the Grottenbahn is open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The last dragon ride takes place at 2:30 pm.
