Welcome to Hafenpark
Hafenpark is a publicly usable leisure and adventure space on a roof area of the new frozen food and pharmaceutical warehouse.
Two separate levels allow the use of the operational area (at ground level) on the one hand and public space (on the roof) on the other are possible at the same time in the same place. This dual use is unique for the whole of Europe and gives the port of Linz an unmistakable character. In this sense the Hafenpark is the central element of "Projekt Neuland".
Hafenpark is located at a height of around 18 metres on an area of around 3,600 square metres. The area invites visitors to stroll, walk or linger. Several walkways lead through different areas planted with grass, flower beds, perennials, shrubs or trees. In general, the new leisure area is divided into several areas. There are special zones for children or young people, but also quiet areas. Towards the harbour basin, an 80-metre-long footbridge leads to an observation tower. Two viewing platforms - one at a height of about 28 metres, the second just above the water surface - can be reached by lift. From these, visitors can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the harbour area and experience the harbour operations at first hand.

Daily from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The Hafenpark is closed in case of snow and black ice.
Please note: The Hafenpark is permitted a maximum of 300 visitors at any one time. Once the maximum capacity has been reached, no more visitors can be admitted.
Arrival by public transport: LINZ AG LINIEN, lines 27, 46, 70, 72, Posthofstraße stop.
Arrival by car: You can park in the Hafen Linz car park, Industriezeile 35, 4020 Linz.
The main entrance to the Hafenpark is behind the harbour portal. A green floor marking leads from the car park to the stairway/lift. A lift is available for the ascent.
