LINZ AG scans E-Mails for viruses

At present many PC-users are concerned about dangerous computer viruses. Additionally, there are E-Mails coming from faked senders.

How can you be sure to have received an E-Mail by LINZ AG?
E-Mails by LINZ AG consist of the sender's signature, the company's name and contact data. In addition to this, there is an information on the anti-virus software which scanned the E-Mail.

Are you endangered by opening an E-Mail attachment coming from LINZ AG?
LINZ AG checks all outgoing E-Mails by an anti-virus scanner. In our E-Mails you can additionally see the name of the software used and state of the current virus pattern.

Supposing your E-Mail does neither consist of the sender's personal signature, the company's name and contact data, nor of the information on our anti-virus-software, then the E-Mail was not sent by LINZ AG and we therefore recommend not to open the attachment and to delete the E-Mail unread.
